Random: Schedule changes!

I’m sorry readers, you must all be so fed up of this by now! I know it hasn’t been a long time since the last time I changed my schedule…but the thing is, nothing feels right at the moment, and I’m having a few issues (again) with my post schedule.

  1. I’m either reading too fast or too slow, and it either means I post two reviews on one day or I have to read mega fast to get up to date with my schedule.
  2. Some days I feel full of inspiration and motivation, other days I feel none. So sometimes I find it hard to post the right thing on the right day.
  3. I’m not tagged enough to do a book tag every week.
  4. I need to finally control not only my book buying but adding books to my TBR too quickly. Maybe swapping to Stacking the Shelves will ensure I only purchase 1 or 2 books a week.

So, for those reasons, here’s my new (sort of) schedule and other ideas!

Wedneday: T5W is a weekly meme hosted by Lainey. With new topic every Wednesday, and you list your Top 5 books related to that topic. If you’d like to take part, join the Goodreads group, and add your name to the list of bloggers & booktubers!

Other days and posts

Okay, by now you’re probably thinking ‘why is there only two days?’. Well, don’t worry! That doesn’t mean you’re losing me the rest of the week – I’ll still be posting every day actually!

But those days will be completely random. I’ll probably stick to an average of two book reviews a week, maybe a book tag, a Myshelf & I/author related post, a discussion post and a random one if I have a spare day. I might even do book/blog related guides or debates!

The whole idea of my schedule is to let this blog be what I want, and give myself more freedom. The last thing I want is writing The Books Are Everywhere to turn into a chore, and I’m hoping this will stop that ever happening.

May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽

  1. Two book reviews is just the right number for me too. I can’t read faster than that and more than 3 reviews is too much, I think, unless you are a speed demon.

You need to give your followers time to get to your reviews, so if a new one is posted every other day, you may lose potential visits for that review.

    1. I’ll probably stick to two a week, three at most. I do like to post a review for every book I read, so if I read 3 in a week, I’ll review 3 in a week. It depends, but you’re right, I’ll make sure to space them out!
