T5W: Inaccurate Covers

Welcome to another T5W post, this week we’re getting close to my birthday! Only 2 days now of being 16, as I turn 17 this Saturday. Today’s discussion is about inaccurate covers – whether those don’t match the book or are just so bad compared to the amazing story.

I’ve always hated this cover compared to the lovely pink one I have – it’s just way too simple and soulless compared to the book!

I’ve always found this cover a little childish for the complex subjects this book discusses.

Anna doesn’t look how I expected in this photo! And not only that..but I hate them. Compared to the pink cover, this one is so much worse.

As much as I adore this cover – it just doesn’t really fit the book. I would love it to be more wacky…just like Naomi & Ely’s relationship!

This book was simply the complete opposite of what I expected. I picked it up because of the cover (isn’t it just beautiful?), but unfortunately wasn’t as impressed by the story.

Which book do you think has a cover completely different from the story?

  1. Ah those cover buys – it’s too bad when they turn out to be a disappointment, but who can resist a beautiful cover? 😦 I haven’t read Anna & The French Kiss, but I’ve seen it around so I definitely agree with you – the other cover is much much better.
