Myshelf & I: October Updates!

Hi everyone! Today would usually be a discussion post or a book to movie adaptation, but as I’m away from home his week I couldn’t simply find the time to watch a movie!

I also had kind of a stressful couple of days, as I started taking medication to help with my…woman’s problems (shall we say) and very quickly felt very down and quite physically…wrong.

I didn’t think much of it, actually very over-reacting with the whole feeling down thing as I simply felt that low. I couldn’t stop crying in some points, and talking to my lovely friend was the only thing that’s kept me smiling when I could.

Anyway, today I spent most of the afternoon at the local hospital (even though I’m on vacation), being generally checked over. Luckily everything is okay, and since coming off the medication I’m already feeling a lot better. I feel like I had a bit of a lucky escape, actually!

However when I have been feeling down, reading has been my escape! Meaning I’ve managed to get through a good 150 pages of Breaking Dawn recently, finally picking up on my reading speed. I’m unfortunately still a good 20 books behind my Goodreads target, but it’s better than it getting worse over the past week. I also now have a whole week away from college, meaning I’m going to be focusing more on getting through my target and planning for NaNoWriMo/NaBloPoMo!

I’m also hoping to plan my social media posts and blog posts, maybe even starting to do a #throwbackthursday to a review on social media every Thursday!

To help me find inspiration, I’d love to start reading more of your blogs/following more of you on social media 🙂 Comment below and I’ll check out your blog! Feel free to add links to your social media too, and I’ll give you a follow!
