I don’t take part in Top 10 Tuesday, as you know, but I happened to spot this weeks theme and thought why not do my own version! So here I am with 10 of my favourite books, perfect for this time of year.
Extraordinary Means is that perfect romance you need on a rainy fall day!
Leading up to Halloween – The Raven Boys combines fantasy and friendship.
Six of Crows has everything – friendship and romance in a completely magical world. And with the sequel just released, this one is perfect for fantasy and contemporary lovers alike!
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a great Halloween read…and not only that, you can now watch the movie too!
Carry On is yet another great YA romance with a fantasy twist.
How could you complete the season without a classic? Jane Eyre jumps out at me every time!
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda is such a cozy and comforting book, like Carry On but for contemporary fans.
Kindred Spirits only took me about half an hour to read – a great short story for a rainy train journey.
As you know, I’m currently reading Breaking Dawn – and this whole series is great for this time of year! The movies are lovely for cozy weekends, too.
And to finish, one of the only preteen books I’d still read. If I remember rightly, Drawing With Light is even set in fall!
Which books do you love to read this time of year?
May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽
