T5W: 2017 Releases I’m Excited For

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Lainey. You get a new topic every Wednesday, and you list your Top 5 books related to that topic. If you’d like to take part, join the Goodreads group, and add your name to the list of bloggers & booktubers!

Today offers such a wide selection of books to choose from – it’s going to be hard to narrow it to just 5!

Note: I’ve tweaked the topic slightly.

I’m a big fan of Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda – it has to be one of my favourite LGBTQIA+ YA novels. I can’t wait to see more of Becky this year!

The same with Becky, I adore Night Owls by Jenn Bennett, and I can’t wait to read more of her writing.

Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I’d love to read P.S. I Still Love You and this last one when it’s released!

I think The Wrath and the Dawn was very much a love or hate book, but I was definitely one who loved it.

This is slightly biased as I actually read and reviewed an ARC copy of this book…but I couldn’t go without giving it a little shoutout 😉

Special mention to the currently untitled third installment of The Illuninae Files which is due for release this year!

Which 2017 releases are you most looking forward to?

May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽

  1. I get updates on books that are coming out, but the people who send the updates usually either put in books that have been out for ages or books I’m flat-out uninterested in reading. There’s supposed to be a Lunar Chronicles side story coming out soon, though, so there’s that? 😛
Also, is Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda really that great? I always see it in the bookstore, but I haven’t ever picked it up.

    1. That’s awesome!
Ohh I didn’t know about the Lunar Chronicles, I actually haven’t read it yet.
I adore Simon. It’s a great twist on classic contemporary/romance in my opinion!

      1. You haven’t? You definitely should. It’s like a sci-fi version of all these different fairy tales, but it’s not generic dystopian fare. 😉
Good to know! I’ll have to pick it up soon, then. 😛
