Hi everyone! Today’s book is one that really touched my heart. This story made me cry, made me laugh, smile and cry again. I loved it, because I felt so close to the story. This is one that takes place on streets in my home country, including things I witness every day.
A lot of us walk assume the wrong things about homeless people. A lot of us walk past without thinking, without knowing. A Streetcat Named Bob teaches a us a story – and while doing that, it teaches us that there are many other stories out there. Many others we don’t see, and don’t know.
“There’s a famous quote I read somewhere. It says we
are all given second chances every day of our lives. They are there
for the taking, it’s just that we don’t usually take them.”
― James Bowen,
James and his cat truly taught me to think, to realise that people from all walks of life have troubles and problems. His story means a lot to me.
Name a book that means a lot to you!
May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽
