It’s finally Christmas Day and time to reveal my favourite book of 2017! I’m so excited to tell you all which book I enjoyed most this year. Before I start, I’d like to wish all of my lovely followers an amazing Christmas and I hope all that celebrate have had a great day today!
Over the past week or two, I’ve been counting down to Christmas with my favourite 12 books of the year. You can find out my 12th-2nd favourites with the links below:
Book 12: Geekerella by Ashley Poston
Book 11: Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Book 10: The Next Together by Lauren James
Book 9: Wing Jones Katherine Webber
Book 8: One of Us is Lying by Karen M McManus
Book 7: Songs About a Girl by Chris Russell
Book 6: The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James
Book 5: A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard
Book 4: Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
Book 3: Your Name. by Makoto Shinkai
Book 2: Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour
I knew which book was my favourite as soon as I started this list. One jumped out above the rest, even though I absolutely adored Your Name. and Everything Leads To You. It was hard to chose my top 3, but I have always known my heart lies with Alex, Approximately. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me angry. It made me feel everything alongside every character and leave the book with memories for months afterwards.
So there we are! It’s Christmas Day and this is my favourite book of the year. Merry Christmas everyone!
May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽
