T5W: 2018 Wishlist

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Lainey. You get a new topic every Wednesday, and you list your Top 5 books related to that topic. If you’d like to take part, join the Goodreads group, and add your name to the list of bloggers & booktubers!

It’s that time of the week again and today we’re talking about things on our 2018 wishlist! As hinted by the T5W team, I’m going to try not to post about specific books and instead talk about my personal goals for the year and things I’m looking forward to.

Love, Simon Poster

Book to movie adaptations are always something I look forward to and I really can’t wait for Love, Simon!

Read 50 books is something I’d love to complete again – I managed it this year and I hope I can again.

Stop buying! Or at least cut down. I counted my unread books today and I have over 50…so that should, in theory, last me a year. Right?

Read more series. I’ve been saying this since I started reading YA, but I am so late to the party with so many series. Maybe 2018 will be my year?

Read more adult books or at least a few more classics is also something I’d like to do. Occasionally, I fell drawn towards adult novels and find YA can be a little young for me. So if anyone has any recommendations for adult reads or classics, let me know!

May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽

  1. Haha, cutting back on buying books is definitely my biggest goal for 2018. Books are super expensive in Canada, and I just cannot afford constantly buying them when I also want to buy new clothes and makeup. I might try to restrict myself to one book a month or try going to some used book stores.
