Hello readers! I love book tags so much but I haven’t done one for so long. I saw this tag back in September and I love the look of it. I found it over on Emma’s beautiful blog, and you can see her post here!
Find a book for each of your initials
Beautiful Broken Things – Sara Barnard
Lola and the Boy Next Door – Stephanie Perkins
Jane Eyre – Charlotte Bronte
Count your age along your bookshelf. What is it?
The 18th book on (one of) my shelves is also one of my favourite reads of 2017! And that book is Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett.
Pick a book set in your country/city
This might not be my favourite book but it is set very near where I live and I found it so interesting because of that!
Include a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to
One of my dreams is to road trip around America, just like Emma mentioned in her post! Amy & Roger is still one of my favourite contemporaries of all time and I just adore the idea of this book and I wish I could live the story.
Pick a book that is your favourite colour
I love gradients and these soft hues of purples are just so pretty. I wouldn’t say I have a favourite colour, but I do adore this gradient.
Choose a book you have fond memories of
I grew up reading Jacqueline Wilson and graduating to Cathy Cassidy before I moved to YA. I absolutely adored this book and it was one of the first preteen books I read!
Include a book you had difficulty reading
Jane Eyre is one of my favourite books of all time, but classics are always a challenge to read.
Find a book on your TBR that you will feel like the biggest accomplishment when you finish it
I know, I’m such a bad bookworm as I haven’t yet read Harry Potter! I’ve been wanting to read it for years though, and I know I’ll feel so happy when I finally finish the series.
As I did this tag without being actually tagged, you should too! I won’t tag anyone this time as I think anyone who wants to write this one should go ahead 🙂
May your shelves forever overflow with books! ☽
