March Wrap-Up and April TBR

I guess it’s time to face the fact I only read 2 books this month. Ugh. Ew. Why.

Well, I mean I’m not without my reasons! I managed to speed through Prisoner of Azkaban and then I was hit with Goblet of Fire. And as much as I love that book, it is 617 pages long, and if the text was the same size as the first 3, it would be double that.

So I am beating myself up about this tiny wrap-up, can I really blame myself? It is quite a challenge, even for me.

Books I Bought in March

Ready Player One – Ernest Cline
Ashes to Ashes – Jenny Han
The Fandom – Anna Day

Well I would say that’s definitely an improvement! I would like to possibly challenge myself and not buy any books at all in April, but 3 is definitely a lot better. I might not have succeeded in a complete ban, but we’re getting there!

Books I Want To Read in April

Honestly, I would just like to finish Harry Potter if I can. Although I’m loving Hogwarts, I can’t wait until I get into other stories once more! I’ll keep reading and keep my fingers crossed for that day coming in April.

What did you read in March?

  1. I’m still not over how the Harry Potter books go from quick 200 page reads, straight to 600 page doorstops! I had a massive reading slump in the middle of March having read way too many terrible books in a row but I just read the whole of The Raven Cycle and I think April might be a good reading month! Xx
