April Wrap-Up and May TBR

This is possibly the first month ever when I’ve hit the goal I set myself the previous month, and I am so so happy! My aim was to reach to finish Harry Potter and I actually did – and managed to read a novella too.

Books I Bought in April

Great Expectations – Charles Dickens

I am also so happy to say I only bought one book in April – and it kind of doesn’t count because it was second hand…right? I was so close to my goal of buying no books at all, and just one second hand book is good enough for me.

Books I Want To Read in May

Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo
Obsidio – Amie Kaufman
Call Me By Your Name – Andre Aciman

I’d love to read at least 5 books this month, which should get me back on top of my Goodreads goal, but I won’t feel too bad if I don’t. May is already shaping up to be busy, so we’ll see what life throws at me first!

What did you read in April?

  1. I got through 5 books in April! One was a re-read, one was an ARC, and the other three were just for fun (Ready Player One, Winter from The Lunar Chronicles, and Britt-Marie Was Here). There was only one book on my monthly TBR that I didn’t get to, so that was actually pretty exciting!

      1. I thought it was wonderful, especially compared to the movie! It was a little exposition heavy in the beginning and there was definitely some things in there where you could tell it was a debut novel, but I thought it was great for the most part
