Hi readers! It was my birthday a couple of days ago (I turned 20), and I was so lucky to receive some gorgeous presents which included these books. I thought I’d give you guys a little wrap-up of the books I was given.
Courtney brought me a few really special books that she knows I’ve wanted for so long. I never had a hardback copy of Crooked Kingdom to match my copy of Six of Crows, so she gifted me this one just in time to meet Leigh Bardugo next week!
My lovely friend Tavi brought me this book and the following from my Amazon wishlist! I’m so excited and appreciative of these beauties. I’ve wanted to pick up Autoboyography since it’s release, and I’ve heard so many good things about it!
Hi everyone! Unfortunately, this Wrap-Up is going to be the most disappointing I’ve ever written, but I’ve had one hell of a month so I’m trying not to be too upset with myself about it! I’m also still on track to read 70 books this year, which is 20 above my original goal of 50.
Hello everyone! I’m here with my August Wrap-Up, which I’m very happy to announce was a successful month despite some personal ups and downs. I managed to read 9 books after only reading 5 in July! Here are the 9 books I read.
My favourite book of the month was actually This Time Will be Different and my least favourite was The Marrow Thieves.
Books I bought in August
I actually didn’t buy any books in August, as I’m on a book-buying ban after YALC! However, I posted about the books I bought at YALC here and here, and I also posted about when I bought To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before a while ago.
I’m joining the Hogwarts Readathon this month as the NEWTs worked out well for me (posts coming soon about these!), and these are the books I’m hoping to read. I don’t know if I’ll complete them all, but A Curse So Dark and Lonely is a bonus book so you never know.
What did you read in August and what do you want to read in September?
I’m very proud to say that I managed to read at least one book by every author I had books signed by at YALC! Saying that, July was still definitely a slow month for me and I’m excited for keeping more on top of my blog and TBR in August. Hopefully doing the Magical Readathon will help with that!
Hi all! Another month has passed and now I have under a month to read as much as I can on my YALC TBR, wish me luck 🙂 Unfortunately I didn’t manage to read as much in June, I got in a few small slumps and I started a new job, but I did still read 6!
I was so lucky to receive a copy of The Storm Crow from Sourcebooks Fire (thank you!). All of the other ‘received’ were gifts from my lovely friend Chloe – thank you again Chloe. The many books on the ‘bought’ list were in preparation for YALC, as usual.
I just want to get through Arctic Zoo and then read as many books off my YALC TBR as possible to be honest! These are at the top of my list, although there are many more :p I need all the luck I can get!
What did you read in May and what’s on your June TBR?
I’d love to say these are the only books I bought, but I’m actually just super behind on my Stacking the Shelves posts! I usually keep track of my book buying on those posts, but I ended up buying a lot in one go so they’ll slowly trickle out over the next month or so 🙂
Wow, after reading only 3 books in March, I read 9 books in April! And moved house. Granted, these books have been shorter and easier reads, but I’m still super proud of myself for such a lot of reading.
